First Gibson, a B25 I got in '68, then a Hummingbird that I still have, and I just made a deal for a ES-339 that ought to be landing this coming week. In between a number of other intruments, like 12 strings, other acoustics. Over 50 years of playing, and still solidly mediocre. I've had to adjust my technique due to MS and arthritis in my hands, but I keep at it. I've been lucky to have friends who are truly great players who are always happy to teach me things. SF Bay Area native, music interests: anything from doo-wop to devo. My favorite chord, G5th. Other interests, learning to work on guitar setup, modifications, sound reinforcement technology, fly fishing, motorcycles, sleeping in on foggy mornings. Thanks for havin' me.
