Does anyone else have experience with the sound difference with these pickups in a Gibson body? I'm well familiar with the sound of Classics in a Gretsch guitar and I really like it. guitarguy059 Posted October 22, 2023 Author Share Posted October 22, 2023 Ok, so I did get around to putting a set of TV Jones Classics into my Flying V, and I'm so glad I did. It's now the best sounding guitar I've ever owned in my 59 years of playing. TV Jones tech Adam advised the correct pickup rings. The installation went perfectly and it looks like it came from the factory with these pickups. Plugged into my amplifier.......I hear the voices of angels.
