B.T. Posted January 20 Share Posted January 20 I have always been fascinated with railroad history and folklore. I’ve written a number of songs - both historical and metaphorical about the railroad. For some time now I’ve wanted to redo the Ballad of Casey Jones and finally got around to it! I stuck very close to the original lyrical concept if not verbatim to the actual lyrics but changed up the melody quite dramatically. What I did was fun but not remarkable until I had my son add a piano part!
