Help identifying Gibson guitar case age and value

Recommended Posts

I was given this guitar case by a family member many years ago. It has sat in storage untouched for several decades now.

I am wondering if anyone can help identify how old this case is (i.e. 60's, 70's etc) and what it may be worth? If anything at all.

After searching online, the only thing similar I could find was this guitar case which is from the 60's.

Thanks!

From the info I’ve seen, I’d say a 70s with the squared off shape, closed b and o and the dot over the i. Here is a handy link Stoopalini shared from the Blue Book.

Btw, my 1930s era gibson and my 73 yamaha classical are identical.  just no lettering.  Someone had a good gig going making those chipboard cases.
