Boomer256 Posted April 3 Share Posted April 3 I am interested in any information available on a Songwriter Performer, Custom Shop, Limited Edition Guitar. It’s builder is 2012. I am mostly interested in knowing what the Tonewoods are and how it is different from other songwriter models, such as Standard Studio and Deluxe. I have a 2008 Songwriter that is spruce over Rosewood. I believe that is the most common combination. Any information is helpful. sparquelito Posted April 4 Share Posted April 4 They go, used, for around $1,800 to $2,000. That model featured a custom inlay around the sound hole and what Gibson called, "hand selected woods". The Fishman Elipse Aura system is installed. The body design of the Songwriter Custom Shop was known as a "small dreadnought".
