bigbeardie
Hi, The guy that first taught me a little about guitar playing back in '56 had a Kalamazoo acoustic guitar. I believe this was made by Gibson and had a beautiful tone. Anybody got any info?

pfox14
Everthing you'd ever want to know about Kalamazoo guitars can be found here: http://www.fox-guitars.com/Gibson-Made_Brands.html Gibson made the Kalamzoo brand from 1934-1942 and it included a complete line of "budget-brand" instruments. There were NO Kalamazoos made after WWII until Gibson briefly re-introduced Kalamazoo in the late 60s as an even cheaper brand of electric guitars, basses & amps.
