TsunamiBr
Hi everyone, I´ve been trying to do a little research about the Studio history, but couldn´t get some answers. Maybe someone could help? The Studio model has been created in 1983, and has been using mostly of the time the 490R/498T combo. But, has it been like this all along its lifetime? Does someone know if another set of humbuckers has been used in it? Thanks!
VillageIdiotUsingShampoo
I have a Les Paul Studio Vintage Mahagony, and i think it came with Burstbucker Pros, the same as Standards.
BlackHawk233
Vintage mahogany has Burstbucker Pros, But I think your question is about what was in it back in the day... Honestly I don't know, but probably what was in Customs/Standards at the time.
TsunamiBr
No... thank you very much for your help, but my question was: Which have been the set of pickups of the traditional Gibson Les Paul Studio along the years? My guess is, it has always been the 490R/498T, since 1983. Only in some special Studio issues, like the VM, it did change. Can someone confirm this? Thanks!
