DrJustice Posted May 8, 2009 Share Posted May 8, 2009 I have a couple of "D'Andrea Guitar Care Kit Deluxe" (last item on that page). I've used the lemon on a fretboard once, and it seemed to do the job of cleaning and conditioning nicely enough. What I'm unsure about is the polish. The instructions has this to say about the polish: "...rich consistency and natural waxes". No mention of abrasives. Is it OK to use on my Gibson's nitro finish? I have a LP Studio with wine red high gloss and an SG Standard with natural satin finish. Should the satin finish even be polished? TIA!
