Andre S Posted October 14, 2009 Share Posted October 14, 2009 Now that the guitar is quaterway through with the faux binding, how do I prevent the bare wood from getting dirty and browning instead of staying the whitish brownish colour that it is? retrosurfer1959 Posted October 14, 2009 Share Posted October 14, 2009 I don't remember where the original post was at but didn't the guy your copying from say he used Elmers white glue thinned with water to seal the wood so that the tru-oil wouldn't soak in.
