gnjpowell
Just picked up an EB-3, a 1970 I think. It has the open headstock and the neck pickup butted right up against the neck. It appears to be 100% original including the (somewhat rough) hardcase. Anyone know how to set the string height with this bridge? Do you have to modify the plastic saddles? Anyone know how to remove the bridge from the body? (just for inspection and cleaning). Thoughts on value? Tips on perfecting that Jack Bruce/Cream sound? THANKS! (the new new guy) JUST LOVE THIS BASS!!!!

rd_artist
in looking in-depth at the site I linked to, I think you called it right as a 1970 EB-3, no later than a 71. As for finding the Jack Bruce/Cream tone, tone is in the fingers and find a drummer with a weird sense of timing
