GuitarJunkie Posted April 6, 2008 Share Posted April 6, 2008 I would guess no. They couldn't really do it with a standard Explorer since it's one solid piece of wood. They can do it with LPs because they can do whatever they want to the mahogany back and then hide it with the maple top. As far as some of the older Explorers with the maple top, I doubt it since weight relief wasn't really done back then. The new Explorer Pro with the maple top probably isn't chambered since they reduced the weight by making it smaller. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
