I'm pretty sure this is the correct forum for this, if it is not; correct me. Back in January, I purchased a 2008 Gibson Les Paul Studio model from MusiciansFriend. The finish is 'vintage faded cherry sunburst', and now I have become interested in what kind of pickups are in my LP. According to the Gibson site, in the faded Studio models section ( http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Les-Paul/Gibson-USA/Les-Paul-Studio-Faded.aspx ), the pickups are Burstbuckers. Then the other Studio page ( http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Les-Paul/Gibson-USA/Les-Paul-Studio.aspx) says the pickups are 490R and 490T. The thing is, the finish of my guitar isn't listed on the site, so I cannot conclude what exactly I have. I plan on replacing the pickups soon and would like to know what exactly I have, so if I decide to sell the pickups I currently have, I'm not selling for less then I should be.
