Andre S
This is probably the best way to satisfy my longing to modify. I'm gonna build a Les Paul Special... TV Yellow, P-90's, single cut, bound neck, dot inlays, the whole shebang. I've given thought to the whole process, and I believe I can manage it. I just don't know how I will get a pickguard... Mostly everything will come from stewmac and rs guitarworks, and reranch for paint when that time comes

Riverside
If you want to mod stuff, it's prolly cheaper just to buy one of those (perish the thought) China fakes for next-to-nothing, then have at it. But before you break out daddy's credit card and a too-big soldering iron, you should play it. It might be nice.
