DrJustice
Personally I think one drummer is enough for any genre... Wouldn't those few drummers be unreasonably busy rotating between all the bands in the world? DJ --
Strummer07
I tend to agree re two drummers ....in as much as I would prefer Not to have the 2nd one !! Went to see Joe Bonamassa at the Royal Albert Hall (UK) a couple of months back and as it was his first gig there ... he added an extra drummer Personally I found the overall drum sound way too overpowering and too prominent in the music. So just 1 drummer for me Now a drummer and a percussionist is a different thing. Ray Cooper is one such guy in mind ...he really adds to the whole sound and is visually very powerful and I've seen him supplementing several bands for the larger gigs .. You can see him clearly in this clip http://video.google.co.uk/videosearch?hl=en&safe=off&rlz=1W1DKUK_en-GB&q=you+tube+ray+cooper&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=i9EQS7znDZSw4Qbh7ciQBA&sa=X&oi=video_result_group&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CBAQqwQwAA#q=you+tube+ray+cooper&hl=en&emb=0&qvid=you+tube+ray+cooper&vid=3815836766372489889&view=
