Well - pictures help a great deal, and posting it in a forum dedicated to that type of guitar might get more responses (like - if it's an acoustic - post it in the acoustic forum, etc;). There is a mine of info here for the tapping - but the right people need to see it before they can answer.....

Hi thanks for your response,it is an acoustic.I,m thinking its called a parlour guitar,it has a smaller body,i,ll try to get a picture posted.I,m more interested in the sound than the value.I,m trying to get the website that will give info on any guitar as long as you have the serial number.Thanks again for your reply and I will post in acoustic forum next time.[biggrin][angry]
