MrPizza
Can anyone help me out here? I bought a set of T-Tops and I can't seem to figure out which one is the neck position and which one is the bridge!
77custom
The one with the longer lead is the neck and the one with the shorter lead is bridge. I don't think they actually had a neck/bridge combo back then.

marvar
You can also check the DC resistance with a multi-meter, if you have access to one- The pickup with the higher resisitance would be the one to install in the bridge position. As said before, I don't think these came with location specific designation, but you would want the one with the highest reading in the bridge . Sancho
There's also the practical test : install both pickups. If the neck pickup sounds abnormally louder than the bridge pickup, switch them. That's how I solved a similar problem.
