Tim Plains Posted January 2, 2010 Share Posted January 2, 2010 We don't get those checklists in Canada with Custom Shop guitars but I would imagine that "birthdate" is only for Gibson USA guitars as you can find out what day the guitar was made on using the 2nd, 3rd & 4th numbers of the serial number. You cannot get that info with Custom Shop guitars - only the year your guitar was built, the year being reissued, and your guitar's production sequence.
