Most of the Monterey performance was done with a regular black stratocaster with a rosewood fretboard and white pick guard. Just a simple, nondescript guitar. A far cry from the beautiful ornately painted strat he ended the show with. I would definitely recommend it. I give it four thumbs up. He's at this very moment doing the Hendix thang in Orange County for a benefit show. Last time I was with him he brought the house down. He has an unconscious ability to channel Jimi. BTW, The Hendrix Experience is coming to Los Angeles soon. And I believe Jeff Beck is playing two weeks before that. Check Pollstar for details Duane.
