dazed7 Posted March 29, 2010 Share Posted March 29, 2010 Hi all. I have been looking all over the net for a Les Paul Studio Lite (91) in Translucent Black with black hardwares but no luck still. I was wondering if anybody owns this or have a picture of this model. If i am not mistaken it is not actually black. Instead it is more towards brown color. This snap was posted on the 'My Les Paul' forum and the owner states that it's a Studio Lite III with factory fitted black Khaler trem. Basically black tinted lacquer shot over the maple. The result is kind of a caramel color. I have one in near mint shape (have to check the year) Email piedmont1968@yahoo.com I could send you some pics. I collect and sell studio lites and I believe this to be the rarest color.
