I need help with identifying an ES 355TD Stereo

I have an ES 355 TD Stereo with the serial number 678997. One owner, my brother, mint condition, has the dark walnut finish with gold trim and the mother of perl

Can anyone help me with the year and number. I tried to figure it out but it was very confusing.

I have pictures I can email if you need them.

That number could be from at least three different periods.

 

Post pictures to get the best advice.

 

We'd like to see the following if possible;

 

General shot of guitar front.

 

Front of peghead.

 

Rear of peghead.

 

Label in soundhole if possible.
