Murph Posted June 12, 2010 Share Posted June 12, 2010 Because I let Chris sign my 1933 Gibson mandolin, (and because I used a credit card and pre-ordered) I just got the new double cd with dvd and a T-shirt. Very typically good stuff from the boys. A lot of dynamics, back and forth, and extreme vocal work from Mr. Thile. I got to hear some of it back in late Feb. when I saw them live. tvguit Posted June 12, 2010 Share Posted June 12, 2010 I have heard a little from the album and it sounds fantastic. I haven't quite pulled the trigger on the album yet but I really want to. I say him last year in Birmingham while he was touring with an orchestra. It was an incredible show but what I was really there for was his Loar. Unfortunately he played the Dude instead.
