SG Classic thoughts

Cheers Kevo. Man it was a warhorse, I played it for 14 years straight-no back up guitar. It could really take it. I bought it for $700, and sold it for $900. It needed new frets bad, and was pretty beat up so I made the move to Classics. I did love the 75 though, lots of great memories playing it.

Sellen if it feels right, go for it! It seems like a fair deal. I wouldn't invest in one that was too dinged up though, they still make them and you could buy a new one if necessary.

Hi everyone,

Bob B or Benton C - what is the definitive story on the SG Classic? I am confused on the number of the first run of them, and whether or not it is going to be discontinued. I've noticed variations on the early models, some have button tuners and some have green Klusens. The bodies are sometimes one piece or three piece. Can you please help clear up some of the confusion regarding these great guitars?

Thanks so much and have a good one!
