nikko18
So I'm confused. I am thinking about putting these seymour duncan humbuckers in my strat. You know, the lttle ones that fit in the single coil slots. But normally you can't line up three humbuckers in a row and have them all be in faze with each other. But from the videos I have heard of these Duncan pickups they sound to be in phase always. Does any one know how this works?
Thundergod
Maybe they are made that way (center pickup with the cover upside down)
nikko18
I actually figured this out. I was a bit tired last night so that's probably why I couldn't think about this quite right. In a les paul with three pickups there is no way to have the middle pickup be in phase with both the other pickups unless they are out of phase with each other. This isn't a problem on a strat because you never have the bridge and neck pickups on at the same time.
