Riverside
Anyone here know how that works? Examples: A certain popular website (MF) shows a Rickenbacker 4003 at the top of the list for 4-string electric basses (do they sell more of those than any other bass?) The same site shows the Gibson 50's LP Tribute at the top of their list for solid body electric guitars. Could they possibly have sold more of these than any other guitar in their system? (I suspect that they sell position like shelf-space in a grocery store.)
TommyK
At the risk of sound cynical. Applying my understanding of the English language, "Best Seller" is vague and there fore, subjective. To a purveyor, it could be the model which garners him the greatest margin. To the buyer it could be the one which is most often purchased. So... who knows? pohatu771
The Rickenbacker 4003 is hardly the best-selling bass on Musician's Friend - I'm guessing that would be a mid-range Jazz Bass or something similar. With Rickenbacker's prices and the speed at which they ship instruments, the only way they could be best-sellers is if Musician's Friend doesn't sell any other basses.
