It was my understanding , from the Gibson web-site that only 500 were being made. The link below has a serial number far greater than 500 . http://wildwoodguitars.com/electrics/gibson/historic_les_paul/001013/001013.php The serial # of 001013(version2) is well over 500. I have also seen a site selling a version 3 with the serial # 00620 . Is it true that there will be 500 of each color, making a total of 2500 pcs? since there are 5 different colors.
