Definitely an ES-125, made in 1955 or later (20 frets). The only mod I can see is the plate over the output jack. Not sure about the tailpiece; normally it would have one with a raised diamond on the cross bar. Don't take that as gospel though, they could have used up some old stock.... or it may have been replaced. The sheet metal mounting bracket sometimes cracked.

I'm thinking ES-125 also...I >thought< (not a factual claim) the ES-125-130-135 transition happened over three years, ending in 1956...so I don't know if they made '125's & the fancier ones the same years...

My '135 is a 1956, and the FON started with a V...through one of the f-holes a number of the form Abbbb-cc may be visible.

The 'A' would be a letter like V, W, Y, etc. the 'bbbb' would be a 4 digit number, and 'cc'© would be a 'serial' number of sorts on that factory order batch.
