Biff
If the rumors are true, the Czech Epiphones should be quite good, with German Schaller hardware etc.. By the way Masken, please drop me a line via PM (jag kan ocså svenska) if you have tips on shopping guitars and gear in the Stockholm area :) I had a stroll along Götgatan last week and was impressed by the Vintage Guitar Sweden and Hellstone shops that I found by accident... smokestack
I've only seen a couple of Czech Epis...which were nice guitars. The "Vintage Keystone" tuners were certainly of a higher quality than those typically found on Korean output from the same period. Can't comment on the pickups...never plugged one in. The Czech ouput was al most exclusively distributed to Eastern and Northern Europe I should think...which is why not too much of it will have surfaced in the more saturated and longer established markets.
