Gibson Historic Spec tuners

I am changing my tuners in my Indonesian G-310. I have purchased a brand new set of historic Spec Gibson tuners and while replacing them I found out that the bushings are too loose in the headstock. Does anyone know of bushings that would fit the shaft and also the head. I went to GC and asked and was told to use paper as a meens of a poor mans fix it. I used masking tape and wrapped some around the bushing and trimmed it and it seems to work. I wonder if anyone does know if I can get correct bushings.

I've used the Historic before, but they'e for the small, vintage headstock drill size. If you have Grovers, or the larger, 10mm hole size, you have two options:

1) Buy the reducer bushings that GuitarPartsResource or Stewart MacDonald sell, that go into the

hole size you have, but accommodate the smaller post size on the Histopric Tuners.

2) Buy the Grover Deluxe (Historic Style) tuners that are designed for the drill size you have

Either one of these approaches will work.
