Headstock logo

I have a PR700 with "Epiphone by Gibson" on the headstock. What I find odd about it, is the lettering style used. It is like none that I've seen before, on an Epiphone. I would post a picture if I could find some instructions on using the "image" option. It was built in Korea in '86, I believe. I mostly want to know if it's a true Epiphone. Seriel # is 8605074. Anyone?

Yeppers...the "Epiphone by Gibson" was used on Korean-made Epiphones starting about 1986 until about 1988...your guitar was made in May of 1986..
