metalhed717 Posted September 15, 2008 Share Posted September 15, 2008 i want to get some new pickups to replace the stock ones in my 66 SG, and ive narrowed it down to some choices, but need help deciding which is best for me. my choices are- Duncan Distortion set SD JB/59 Gibson 500T/496R Dimarzio Evolution Bridge/ Humbucker From Hell Neck (used by alex skolnick) has anyone used these setups and can anyone give me some suggestions? i play thrash an NWOBHM mostly, but i want something more versatile than EMG's since i already have them in my prophecy.
