Model # Questions

I'll share my only clues and non-official "key" to model codes as derived from my Epi.

model # EELPSHBNH1

digits

1 = E signifies Epiphone brand

2 = E signifies Elite series

3-4 = LP signifies Les Paul type

5 = S signifies Standard version

6-7 = HB signifies Honey Burst color

8-9 = NH signifies Nickle Hardware

10 = 1 unsure but one guess is it signifies first production grade (e.g. not a "2nd")

Your example ENSQTLCH1 is definitely an Epi with chrome hardware and ENBBEGH1 is an Epi with gold hardware. Without photos I would just be guessing on the rest. And since your models have less digits, assume that you need to play around with the key a bit to figure yours out based upon their other characteristics.

Mine is ENSQTACH. It's an Amber quilt top Classic. So not sure what the L would be....

Could be limited edition?' date=' except that seems to be the "color code" digit.

elduave -- if yours are LPs then the 2nd digit "N" must signify Les Paul of the regular production type (Korean or Chinese). So it's looking like your ENSQTLCH1 may be an Epiphone, LP, standard, quilt top, (L = unknown color), chrome hardware, 1.

Now if whoever has the BBE clues will ante up, elduave's model # puzzle will be solved.
