(Help!) Master Volume Master Tone wiring

Xray

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've tried to make master tone master volume wiring in my epi les paul standard. Well.. i would call it "epic fail". I've worked with wiring diagrams from seymourduncan.com but i didn't understand it mostly becouse of connector. Can anyone help me with this ? How should i do this wiring ?

Please help,

Kind Regards.

PS : Sorry for my english, i hope you will understand.

Yes' date=' but in epi les paul standard there are alnico classic humbuckers with chrome cover

Mods generally require some deviation from the standard Gibson 2 vol/2tone. You should

be able to unsolder the p_up signal leads at the volume controls. If the connectors

are there to allow plug-in of the p-ups, leave them intact. The wiring diagram

as mentioned in a previous post will work. If you are not comfortable with

rewiring, take it to a repair person or someone who is familiar with guitar wiring.

This will get more complicated. I always take the connector off first thing... Besides I don't think you can use the Seymour Duncan schematic without taking the connector off...

It's easy, just pry the 4 small tabs upwards(one by one) and the wires will slip out.

On the Epi Bridge Hotch Pickup's blue wire: white is hot/signal

On the Epi Neck 57CH pickup's red wire: red is hot/signal

The twisted wire on both is ground.

In the SD schematic just forget the red/white wire from the pickups.

Hope this helps.
