andy007
Does anybody know if the pot shaft size in an Epiphone Les Paul Elitist is the same as a Gibson? I heard the regular Epiphones use pots with finer metric threads and smaller shaft diameter. So the holes in the body are smaller than on a Gibson. However, I also heard the electronics in the Elitist series are USA made and I don't know if that means they used pots with the larger diameter shafts. Anybody know? Steven Lister
My '03 Epi Elite LP (predecessor of the Elitist line) has the larger 'Gibson' size pot shafts (& USA made pups). However, the hardware is metric size (T.O.M./tailpiece/tuners). The Elitist should be the same. Welcome to the forum andy007!
