Since I just got my silverburst custom, I don't think I can justify another les paul. Would I be correct to expect a stock standard plus top to sound pretty much the same as my stock custom? Same pickups, same woods, same basic design. The custom has a different color paint, and more binding. That's pretty much the only real difference, other than price. And speaking of price, 400 is a damn good price on a minty fresh plus top with a case... I would jump on it if you have the cash, you won't regret it.
