Rob321
Hey guys. So a friend of mine just bought a epi les paul custom off ebay. It was advertised as a red les paul custom, and the pictures seemed to clarify this but I have been doing some research and can't find any proof that Epiphone ever made customs in red. I did do a serial number check and it said it was made in china.. but I know those can be faked. So I guess what I'm asking is if you guys think it might be a fake? Or if someone knows if this guitar actually exists. -Thanks

RotcanX
Epiphone had LE wine red LPCs for a while so no, the red colour does not imply that it's a fake. However the eBay listing has been pulled so...
Rob321
Well the auction was over, and the seller had really good feed back. It isn't wine red though.
RotcanX
Yeah, well, red, wine red, cherry red... colours tend to vary from month to month and as long as it's not chartreuse it's probably legit.

Vol knob should be slightly lower than the tail piece 2. Vol/Tone/Pick Guard screw should be parallel to the guitar neck 3. Pick Guard screw off center

But not on these three pictures here, but the first picture in your other posting. Can't really make out much from these three pics.
