pohatu771
I've decided I want to buy an Epiphone Caballero FT-30 in good condition... a 1965, preferrably. I saw one on eBay, but it was just outside of what I wanted to pay for it, so I let it go. The reason for the 1965 model (even with the plastic bridge) is so it matches my 1965 Gibson LG-0. They're identical guitars, other than the headstock. I've never been one for having two of the same guitar, but I feel like a matched pair would be a novel thing to have. Anyway, if anyone sees one come up (a Kalamazoo model, I'm not interested in the Japanese FT-30), let me know. If it's in my price range, and I'm able, I'll buy it. TommyK
For the newbies out there the Japanese Cabellero was an FT 130. Totally different animal.

As you can see, I'm still slightly a newbie... although, in my defense, it seems that some people are advertising their Japanese Caballeros as FT-30s. TommyK
I wouldn't doubt that a bit. "Oh.. I'm sorry, I mised the 1."
