I've been asked a couple of times how "hot" were those OBL pickups on my Epi Nighthawk. So, here's a short solo guitar video clip from my soundcheck @ the last week's gig: http://georgesolo.com/AM (Tip: switch to 480p resolution for higher quality audio) The guitar was plugged into SansAmp Classic and then directly into PA. Amp Drive setting on SansAmp was 4, so there's still lots of room for more gain, if needed... Cheers' date=' George[/quote'] I have to agree, the slanted humbucker was always my favorite part of the Hawk. They also ditched the split-parallelogram inlays, which are my favorite shape inlays. darren Posted April 7, 2012 Share Posted April 7, 2012 thank you Eggs. i saw that, but no... its weird- these pickups literally do not exist on the net... but lots of us have them. i would think there is a diagram SOMEWHERE but nope. im trying to figure out how to use this new analog multimeter i got today. when i learn how to use it, by God i will post my findings. then we'll all have a reference on the web. cant seem to wrap my mind around the concept though- anyone know of a good tutorial to figure out pickup polarity and do it right?
