superbob67 Posted April 6, 2010 Share Posted April 6, 2010 I have an Epi T-Bird and run both pickups wide open as well as the tone wide open all the time. Am wondering if anyone knows if I can eliminate one of the volume pots and the tone pot completely? superbob67 Posted April 8, 2010 Author Share Posted April 8, 2010 Thought I would post back with a full report: I removed the tone control completely and kept both volumes active. Played a show last night and the bass sounded A LOT better. I think I'm going to remove both of the volumes and replace them with just one Bourns pot which should make an even bigger difference.
