street454 Posted April 9, 2010 Share Posted April 9, 2010 I have had this now for ten years and could never figure out what it was. I thought that it was a MIJ Les Paul but the headstock does not look entirely like a Gibson. The top is narrower. The serial number is 9081981, which now decodes to a 1989 Epi Made in Korea. I'm confused as to the headstock! Is this a MIJ or Koren made? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I put Dragon Mountain humbuckers in it recently. The original neck pup had no markings. The bridge pup had been replaced with an EMG Select before I got it. I also just installed the vintage Bigsby. It is also equipped with Gotoh tuners that look original.
