Better Epiphone question

Hi,

 

I currently own a 09 Epi lp and my neighbor owns an EE serial numbered Epi. He said his lp is better than mine.

Is there any significant differences in build or sound quality of epiphones between these 2?

Ummmmm... Important info to have is WHICH Models

of guitars are you comparing?

Yours was made in 09, his was made at Qingdao plant in

china. That's all the info you posted.

I have an 06 made at DW plant (Daewoo, China), and

an 08 made at EE plant (Qingdao, China), and an 09 LP Special II

made at "Plant 13" (currently unidentified). All LP Models,

but different construction, all play differently.

 

The Model will help identify the goodies used in building the

gits, but as far as "better", will also depend on player -

One player may have an Epi Prophecy, but can only play 2 chords.

The other may have LP Special II, but can whip out every Led

Zepplin or Lynyrd Skynyrd lead ever recorded.

Tell him thats not what his momma said. LOL! It doesn't matter as long as you are happy with yours. There are differences in guitars, even the same model. They feel different and sound different too. I don't know if you guys have the same model or not but its really just gonna be a matter of personal preference.
