Humbucking

My Riviera is factory loaded with two P94's (Nick Valensi); I love the neck PUp, great clear Grant Green tones, but the bridge PUp is not getting any use, I can see why it's there on a Nick Valensi signature guitar It has loads of attck for that Strokes sound but I'm not really into that, Id like to play with more gutsy sustain at the bridge so I'm going to replace it with a Humbucker; I've been shopping for one online all this morning but I'm in a world of choice I had no idea there was such a range! I've narrowed it down to:

Gibson or Bare Knucle,

Open coil black (i'm going to fit a chrome H-Gate cover to keep it somthing like the black P94)

Nothing too Metal sounding!

There's so much choice but little advice when it comes to arch-tops: Any advice or recomendations from the people who've been there?

You might look into Seymour Duncan humbuckers, something like the SH-2 or Seth Lover. They have audio samples of all their pickups on the web site:

The P-Rails might be an interesting choice as they give you three options, P90, single coil rail, and Humbucker: http://www.seymourduncan.com/products/electric/humbucker/progressive/prails_shpr1/

Make sure the new pickup is wired so that when the selector is in the middle position, the pair still cancels any hum...

PS: If you ever want to sell your Bridge P94, I'm looking for one to go with the neck P94 I have....
