tommyb
After all the reviews and research (and a limited budget) I ordered a LP custom in ebony last week. As a former Gibby owner (see signature) I have high expectations, but I really don't expect to be disappointed. The only minor thing is that had the Custom Plus not been discontinued, I would have bought that one in heritage cherry...it would be a close match to the Gibson LP I had back in the 70's. I definitely wanted a Custom model, and the only other choice was Alpine White...I'm just not partial to white guitars, but that's just me. So, ebony it is. However, if anyone knows of any Epi LP Custom Pluses in HC, please let me know, especially new ones. Just curious.
93DMTX1281734249
Heritage Sunbursts are nice. I definitely like black customs though. I'll betcha (<--- my Sarah Palinism for the day) a whole dollar that you'll fall in love with it.
Thegraze8
the Custom pluses are awesome, hell customs are awesome. add phase switching and a bone nut and they become even more awesome. i sometimes wish i had gotten the vintage sunburst model instead. tommyb
93DMTX: Yeah, the more I look at the Epi catalog and other pics of it, I think I'll really take to the ebony. Thegraze8: Don't the Epi LP's have bone nuts?
Thegraze8
i think they are some sort of plastic. years ago i actually somehow broke the plastic nut and the awesome dude at Carmine st. Guitars made me a nu bone nut.
