Can the "John Lennon" logo in the Epiphone EJ-160 E be removed?

Or does this model exist without the "John Lennon" transfer? I've only seen them with it. I like this guitar because of George, not John, so I don't want his name on a guitar of mine (I wouldn't like George's, either, by the way). I'm not going to buy this guitar right now, anyway, because I've just saved enough for a EJ-200, but the EJ-160 will be the next one (some day), because I'd like to have an acoustic with pickups at some moment, too.

I'm not sure, but it's probably a sticker applied before the clear finish is sprayed over. It would be easier and possibly less expensive to buy the Gibson than to have it removed!

Um, a Gibson J160e costs about $2,250.

I think it's just a silk screened signature...try some Mcguiar's rubbing compound, gently....and then rewax it.

I've seen "used" ones, where the signature was almost rubbed off. So...???

Thanks everybody. I might try to remove the signature, then, with the help of a friend of mine who's a cabinetmaker (I don't think I'd be able to do it properly by myself). Or, if I were feeling very conservative, I'd get that guitar suggested by paruwi6172 (I would do that away -I mean, as soon as I decide to buy the guitar- if it weren't because I do love the shape of the Epiphone headstock!)
