Elitist Casino Nut Width

I am looking to buy an Elitist Casino. I have somewhat large hands and the narrower 1-5/8" nut guitars are a little hard for me to play. I prefer 1-11/16".

 

The Epiphone web site says the nut is 1-11/16". The MF web site says it is 1-5/8".

 

The 2010 Epiphone catalog says 1.625" (1-5/8") on Page 8.

I did a search here and the nut width issue has been discussed in several threads but I didn't see where it was ever completely resolved.

 

Would someone be so kind as to pull out their Elitist Casino and measure the nut width and string spacing at the nut for me?

And to make matters worse' date=' the 2010 Epiphone catalog says 1.68" (1-11/16") on Page 7 and 1.625" (1-5/8") on Page 8.

Tom, I had a Elitist and the neck was very narrow & thin. I don't have it anymore so I can't measure it for you, but I'm 99% sure it's 1 5/8". I don't know if they changed specs, mine was an older one (2002).
