Red PR5 E

I bought a used PR 5E. It is bright red in color and I have not seen one in this finish anywhere before.

Anyone know if this a ltd. edition or a fake???

No, mine is solid red throughout ( no burst ). I wish it had that nice inlay though.

It's just that I have never seen another one in person, on ads, or anywhere!

Oh, and it has Gotoh tuners and a "Gibson" truss rod plate. It sounds very beautiful for it's size, even in acoustic only mode.

then how about a picture because your telling us means nothing but a picture speaks a thousand words and if it is a red soldi it might not be just a PR-5E it could b e and earlier model called the Artist which were made from 92- discontinued in 99 which means it has the cheery sunburst ( though not a true burst as we know it ) ship

Music123.com - before being swallowed up by Musicians Freind/Guitar Center - sold these red models as an exclusive some years back (late 1990s or early 2000s). They were specially-priced. I pondered long and hard and almost bought one but waited too long. Price and color aside, I believe the specs were identical to the standard PR5-E. I hope this helps.
