GeorgeHJM
In April I ordered a Epiphone Prophecy EM2 custom FX at boxymusic.com .This is the internetshop of Piens.com in Deinze ,Belgium. They tell me that delivery takes so long because of Gibson factories being flooded. Can anybody verify this? I am getting worried since this is almost 4 months ago. GeorgeHJM
Hi, thanks for your reaction. So, you think that all Epiphone-guitars are manufactured in Asia ?

Plymouth581281734240
It could be they do a final checkup in the USA and ship to their international dealers from the USA instead of the country of origin. I bought my Prophecy with Thomann. You can check on their website if the item is in stock or when it will be back in stock. http://www.thomann.de/be/epiphone_em_2_custom_fx_me_bundle.htm
zombywoof
As far as I know the only Epis made in the U.S. were limited runs like the John Lee Hooker Sheraton and more recently the Wilshire RI. The only possible impact the Nahville flooding would have on Epis, which is a subsidiary of Gibson rather than just a licensed product, I can see is if paperwork dealing wiith shipping or warranty or something was handled in Nashville. That could impact guitars being sent to dealers from the China plant.
