sachi
So tell me -- what are the differences between Rivieras, Sheratons, and Dots? They are all based on the semi-hollow 335 shape, are they not? Are there any practical differences, or is it all levels of bling?
Vic Flick
So tell me -- what are the differences between Rivieras' date=' Sheratons, and Dots? [/quote'] Rivieras usually have mini humbuckers, P-90s, or P-94s although some older in the late '90s had standard humbuckers. Dots are 335 clones. Sheraton IIs have humbuckers and a lot of bling and the older Korean ones had super nice 5 piece necks. I like the MIK Rivieras with the mini humbuckers and the Sherrys with the 5 piece necks. People with the current Riviera with the 3 P-90s seem to love them, but I've personall haven't played one. 5 piece Sheraton neck:
Cheeks
FYI, the BB King LUCILLE is also a semi-hollow. No F-holes... designed that way to cut down on feedback. More info from Epi here: CLICK HERE - EPI ARCHTOPS
