lesterpaulfus
Can anyone give me the dimensions or know where i can get a template of the Epiphone em-1, em-2, or Gibson M-III / M-IV. They all have the same body and headstock shape. Im gonna try to build one but i need a body and headstock outline. Thanks in advance.
animalfarm
This is the only link that I have to Guitar Templates at present. The CNC-cut section is a slow loader on my computer. Maybe you'll find what you're looking for? "Guitar Building Templates" http://www.guitarbuildingtemplates.com/products
RobinTheHood
The headstock is the typical Explorer style. It should be pretty easy to find.
lesterpaulfus
The template website didnt have any templates for it, but i found one 4 the explorer headstock which is the same. I still need a body template, but its a rare guitar and ive never seen one for it.
RobinTheHood
I dont think you are going to easily find one...if you do at all. These werent big sellers in the 90's and they havent done all that well since their redesign in 2008. EM fun fact: Gibson had the Mark-III & IV and Epiphone had the EM-1 & 2. Epiphone also made the EBM as the bass counterpart to the EM, but Gibson never made a bass equivalent to the Mark series. Also, the 6-string version of the Epiphone Bass Mark (EBM) was called the Expert-6. There is debate as to whether the E-6 was made in Korea or Tennesse.
