ishtar
Hi... I'm new here. I just got a GU Standard, supposedly new. Not sure what that means- it was in the original box, it had the plastic on the pickups, but must have been sitting somewhere for years. I had another one early in this millennium, but sold it. On the current GU, when I unlock the tremelo, the tuning goes to hell. I don't think that was the case with my old GU. It also appeared that the moster tune knob was out as far as it could go. Anyone have any advice on what I might do so that the GU might stay in tune when releasing the tremolo lock? One other thing, some of the tuners seem a bit wobbly. Is there a better bridge out there I could put on this thing that isn't too pricey? Thanks for your consideration. ishtar!~
ishtar
I forgot to mention that this is a left handed GU, but it appears the bridge has a tremolo hole on top and bottom, so it appears that the 6 string guides could be rearranged.... making me think that this particular bridge is ambidextrous.
