lovie Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 Hi, I have a 1990 or 1991 12 string steinberger. I think it is a GM 2S series. It has a double cut-away, rail tuner system, double ball strings. The pick-ups are EMG 2 singles and 1 humbucker. Does anyone out there have any idea of the value. headlost Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 Then you do own a Steinberger GM4 with the TracTuner, not only the 12-string, fixed bridge does have a special design, also the heapiece does so (it seems there are two different versions for this kind of headpiece). Value must be high as that bridge alone goes usually pretty high on eBay, maybe the right place to make the most out of your guitar, even considering the fees (just supposing you really want to sell it). Otherwise you may use this forum and also the other one available for Steinberger enthusiasts, for trying to get good offers.
